Welcome to Take One Drama Group's Website

Take One Drama Group was formed in 1976. We are an organisation formed and based in Settle, North Yorkshire.

Most of our productions are performed in Settle Victoria Hall and we have always felt very privileged to be able to present our plays and pantomimes in such a wonderful, traditional theatre.

Play Readings

Take One are having a play reading on Thursday 12th May at 7:30 p.m. Venue: Victoria Hall.

Looking for Members

We are looking for people to join us who are happy to help out - either on stage or back stage, directing, producing, stage hands, lighting, sound - we pride ourselves in presenting a professional looking production at Settle's fabulous theatre. This can be demanding, but very rewarding work.

N.B. Volunteers working with children will be asked to undergo an enhanced CRB check

Junior Workshops

We ran a number of workshops over the winter months. Now that the summer play rehearsals have begun, the workshops have come to an end. Thank you to all our junior members and senior members who came along and took part or helped out. Thank you Helen for organising them x
